Grant

Artists Statement:
Grant is a fellow watercolor painter. This painting was inspired by the way the sunlight, shade, and shadows lite up his face. Judy’s watercolors straddle a fine line between illustration and painting, by creating a sense of dynamic realism without doing true photo-realism.
Bio: After retiring from a career as an Architect, Judy began pursuing painting watercolor more seriously. She has entered paintings into multiple shows and received several awards recognizing her talent. Judy’s experiences as an architect are integral to skills that inform her paintings: mastery of drawing techniques, a good sense of composition/color and refined critical thinking skills.
